Global Environmental starts the New Year with a new project for the Breyer Group, this time in North Lewisham, South London. Again, for this contract, we are carrying out asbestos surveys prior to extensive refurbishments as part of the Government’s Decent Homes programme.
This work runs concurrently with two other schemes we are working on with Breyer, for South Essex Homes and in South London on behalf of London & Quadrant Housing, where over 800 properties have benefited from replacement kitchen, bathroom, heating and electrical works to bring them all up to standard.
Construction Director at Breyer, John Walsh commented:
“Having worked together successfully in Barking and Dagenham and more recently on the two schemes in South Essex and for L&Q, our teams are happy to be using Global Environmental’s services again in Lewisham. Their reliability and responsive lead times on reporting is helping us to hit the ground running and making a great start to 2018.”
The Breyer Group has many years’ experience of providing high-quality internal and external refurbishment and are currently involved in over 20 frameworks and partnering arrangements with local authorities and independent housing associations to complete home refurbishments.
L&Q is one of the UK’s leading housing associations and one of London’s largest residential developers. Owning or managing over 90,000 homes in London and the South East they have developed comprehensive expertise by leading the regeneration of some of the toughest and most challenging inner-city housing estates in London.
